Frost Festival. Bear Pit.

Having thrown London’s premiere LGBT event this summer, the Out On The Dock/Summer Rites team return on November 15th with Frost Festival - one HUGE Winter Pride party in the historic warehouse space, Tobacco Dock in East London. Running from 9pm until 4am, Frost Festival will bring together the very best of London’s LGBT club nights. Frost Festival also acts as the official after-party for the Smirnoff Winter Pride UK Arts Awards. There will be several stages to choose from on the night, but (obviously) our interest focuses on the Bear Pit, which will be hosted by Bearfest (Kurt Hoffman). Bearfest will bring to the Bear Pit some excellent cabaret acts: the Bearlesque star Dave The Bear, furry favourite dancers Roberto & Luke, Nigel Murfitt as Father Christmas and the fierce Baby Lame! The Bear Pit DJ line up includes: Done & Dusted, Jamin vs Jones, Silvehook and Neil Evans.
Done & Dusted are DJs Alan X and Louis Lennon. As a double act, Done & Dusted are established across club-land, already racking up some major gigs including Summer Rites and As One in the Park. Their individual styles are well matched: playing club-house with an uplifting tech edge. Alan X has had residencies which included Crash, Beyond, Barcode, Salvation, Trade & DTPM, with headline gigs at Birmingham Pride, Manchester Mardi Gras and Pride. Louis Lennon is resident DJ at Audio Orgy. He has played at various clubs around the world including, Ministry Of Sound, Dusk Til Dawn, The Warehouse & Area with residencies at Bear Necessity, Tonker, East Bloc and overseas gigs at Madrid & Paris Pride.

Silverhook (also known as Argyris Georgopoulos) is the co-promoter and resident DJ of Hot Fuzz, the very popular electro-dance party at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, which has built a reputation for being a very friendly, very flirty night with quality house music and dirty electro-dance tracks with a pop sensibility. Silverhook music style spans from electro-pop and nu-disco to electro/tech house, always vocal, always sexy! Silverhook’s other residencies include Audacity (an alternative gay night in Camden Town) and Beerbust on Fridays at The Kings Arms, the popular bear pub in Soho. He has DJed at London festivals like Bearfest and Out On The Dock.
Neil Evans is DJing from time to time at The Kings Arms and East Bloc, as well as sometimes at squats in Camden. When it comes to music, he is all about the bass. Expect the unexpected, as it genuinely could range from breakbeats and glitchy fidget house to full-on squelchy 808 techno with perhaps everything in between.

Jamin vs Jones are DJs Ben Jamin and Mr. Jones. Ben Jamin is an experienced, eclectic and award winning DJ with well-developed history of party music and professional recognition within the London club, music and promotions scene. Ben ‘s style of music is soulful house, nu-disco, classic party anthems and electro-tech house. His current residencies include Sunday Happy Day, Nobu, Blocheads and The Kings Arms. In the past Ben Jamin has played at the NYC Downlow Closing Party of the Opening night Glastonbury Festival, London Pride, Trade, BBC Radio One Stage @ Big Gay Out amongst many others. Mr. Jones has been DJing on the London scene for too long!! His gigs have included Tonker, The famous LA.3, Fire, The Edge, The RVT, The Kings Arms, Barcode Soho, London Pride events, Summer Rites, Choice Cuts and Blocheads. His sound is a mix of tech, tribal, uplifting, deep house and the darker, sexier side of dance music.
