London Bear Fest, popped up earlier this year almost out of nowhere. Kurt Hoffman and his team created a week of events, centred around the London Bear Scene, giving an array of options in all the favourite Bars and Clubs. A diplomatic feat of UN Proportions I am sure. All the bars were involved in some way, Tonker at the Eagle, Halfway to Heaven, and of course the Kings Arms, to name a few. A few special events were created such as Kinky Bear, and the core event, Beartacular created by Kurt, and hosted at the legendary Royal Vauxhall Tavern, brought together a fun night of cabaret hosted by the hilarious Johny Woo, who held it all together like good emcee's do. If you have not had the pleasure of Johnny, think Concita Wurst, with a Lilly Savage twist, just more hair, and lipstick.  

 

I caught up with Kurt earlier this year to talk about the event, and he al.so revealed that the event is confirmed for next year with the dates fixed, withthe bars confirmed and new events scheduled.
