Atlantic Properties has been in Fort Lauderdale since 1983 and is now celebrating its 30th birthday! Mike told me “This concept is an open place to conduct business, free Internet, coffee and business tools available to the public, while we sell real estate. Cross promotion with local businesses while showcasing local talent seems to work perfectly with local artists show work , and groups and seminars are conducted frequently at the Business Café”
I asked Joe to tell me more about The Biggest Guys in Real Estate? “We started using this catch tag since we are both big guys… it was a cheeky thing but just stuck to us. Over the last four and a half years we have grown our business, selling properties mostly but not exclusively to the LGBT community. The Bear community is quite large in South Florida, as you can imagine many of our clients are Bears. We have a large investment clientale and along with our own property investment company called “Property Bears”
Who is Mike Marshall?
After a long and successful career owning his own Lincoln Mercury Dealership, He transfers his enthusiastic personality and considerable skill set to the real estate field. His previous Dealership experience blends seamlessly with his emphasis on creating personal client service that goes beyond expectation; he knows that the creation of a long-term relationship is far more valuable than any single transaction. Mike's affability, enthusiasm, integrity, diligence, work ethic and negotiation skills have well served his buyer and seller clients over the many years in the residential real estate market.
A native of New Orleans, Mike holds a degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. His Big Easy roots have taught Mike that hard work brings many rewards. He decided to change his life and stretched out towards the west. He lived in Nevada and California before finding Fort Lauderdale. Beach Life agrees with Mike, he is most comfortable in shorts and flip-flops and he is happy to make Wilton Manors his home.
Who is Joe Minotto?
It could be said that real estate is a perfect match for Joe Minotto. He brings a deep commitment to the service of both sellers and buyers. A seasoned private butler for over 10 years in New York, he brings a wealth of experience. With a degree in business, graduating from the Restaurant School of Philadelphia combined with years of running his own restaurants and hotel has uniquely prepared him for understanding the needs and desires of his clients.
Extensive travel to Europe, Australia, Canada, Central America, North Africa, Asia and having been a Rotary Exchange student to Mexico and England have broadened his awareness of the world. After all of his travel, returning to the serenity of his orchid collection and garden in Florida has affirmed the value of coming home. Ever since 1981, when Joe first discovered Fort Lauderdale, he has maintained residences in both Florida and in New York. Now, he and his partner live full time at their home in Wilton Manors.
