Here is a little selection of the best ways to get to Charlotte and Asheville, the two best cities for arriving into North Carolina and being near to us via train and plane. If your travelling by car, then do check the route map and that should get you to our front gate. If you are travelling from any other country, look at the Charlotte Douglas Airport link for airline information. If your having problems working out your route, let us know and we will get our travel agent pals onto it, for you, see if we can get you a deal!
Travelling to North Carolina
If your heading from the UK or Ireland the best flights are the direct services from London's Gatwick Airport & Dublin both to Charlotte Douglas international airport. Where-ever your coming from we will make sure you are met at the airport, if your landing on the Saturday of the start of the camp.
Charlotte is served by AMTRAK, so if you want to stay on land and get to us via train, there are a number of routes, from new york, and from new orleans, check www.amtrak.com. Once you know your time of arrival we will come and collect you.
If you are travelling by car, then a great route finder we use is the viamichelin site, it gives youa great route and even calculates the gas cost too!! Try it and let us know what you think. Be sure to let us know your apx arrival time.
